OR Manager Conference Day 1 Highlights

The OR Manager Conference Exhibit Hall opens at 4 pm on September 17 and features more than 180 exhibitors (see participating vendors at www.ormanagerconference.com). “Music City” will be celebrated with activities including whiskey tasting, a Best Boot Contest, and giveaways. (Attendees: Be sure to wear your favorite Western style boots, and upload your photo to the activity feed in the mobile app with #bestbootcontest for the chance to a $100 gift card to Nashville’s Boot Barn!)

The annual OR Manager Conference bookstore, featuring more than 100 titles, plus gifts and souvenir items, opens September 17 in the Grand Lobby, Level 3 at the Music City Center.

Select authors will host book signings during the conference on the following days:

Monday, September 17, 4:30–5 pm: Cy Wakeman, Jane McLeod

Tuesday, September 18, 9:45–10:15 am: Craig Deao; 6–6:30 pm, Ridley Barron

Wednesday, September 19, 12:30–1 pm: Christy Dempsey

Recordings of the conference sessions are available for pre-order at the bookstore for a discounted rate until Wednesday, September 19. 

Reminder: OR Manager Conference attendees: Join Rhonda Anders, MSM, BSN, RN, CNOR, NE-BC, for a breakfast presentation, “Achieving Improved Surgical Outcomes by Increasing Accuracy in Fluid Management,” sponsored by Ecolab in Grand Ballroom AB at 6:30 am Tuesday for additional CE credit.
