Time to sign up for the ASC administrators CASC training course

The OR Manager Conference is proud to announce it will offer a 1-day training course outlining core areas of study for the Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) exam to earn the CASC credential.

This training is ideal for those responsible for the operations of running an ambulatory surgery center (ASC), those moving into an ASC administrator role, or any ASC leader looking for resources to help manage the complexities of running a successful center in today’s healthcare landscape.

Training covers the five core domains of the CASC exam:

  1. Delivery of patient care: Establishing policies to never events; ensuring safe medication practices; developing pain management protocols
  2. Quality management: Quality assessment and performance improvement programs; risk management and safety
  3. Human resources: Recruitment and hiring processes; administration; performance measurement
  4. Financial: Accounting; revenue cycle policies; supply chain management; business growth and development
  5. Regulatory and legal issues: Governance; licensure; accreditation and certification; credentialing privileging; negotiating.

The training will be held on Sunday, October 27, from 8 am to 5:30 pm, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Attendees of the course will receive handouts, study materials, and a 15% discount on the CASC practice exam fee, as well as breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.
