CDC reports top public health issues
Editor's Note
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on March 1 updated its Prevention Status Reports, which rank the biggest public health issues in the US.
Among the 10 most important health problems are:
- healthcare-associated infections
- heart disease and stroke
- nutrition, physical activity, and obesity
- HIV.
The Prevention Status Reports website features an interactive map, where users can view reports by state.
