ECRI: 2022 winners of Alerts Impact Award

ECRI on May 25 announced the three winners and three finalists of its 2022 Alerts Impact Award for excellence in recall management.

The annual award is given to those who have demonstrated strong success in implementing recall management programs in their healthcare organizations.

The winners are:

• Eskenazi Health, Indianapolis—for expedient resolution of backlog alerts during a cyberattack.
• St Luke’s Health System, Boise, Idaho—for steady, systematic recall resolution success.
• ThedaCare Medical Center, Appleton, Wisconsin—for extending alerts workflow to pharmacy and lab teams for increased compliance.

“With continuing shortages in supplies, equipment, and healthcare workers, it is increasingly challenging to keep up with recalls that demand swift action.
