Inspired by a leader in the postanesthesia care department (PACU)? Here’s a chance to provide well-deserved recognition from the entire perioperative community.

Whether in an outpatient setting or a hospital, ensuring successful surgery requires attention to more than what happens in the OR. That’s why OR Manager’s annual leadership awards honor not just the best OR and ASC managers, but also those responsible for care during the postoperative period, when patients are typically at their most vulnerable. With the PACU Manager of the Year award, we aim to honor an exceptional PACU leader who has made remarkable contributions to advance post-operative care and improve quality outcomes for postsurgical patients.

With nominations still open, this is your chance to spotlight an exceptional figure in PACU. The winner will be honored at the 2024 OR Manager Conference along with the other winners (OR Manager of the Year; ASC Leader of the Year).

Nominations remain open through July 19. Finalists will be announced August 5 and invited to the 2024 OR Manager Conference for an awards ceremony Wednesday, October 30, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV. Send in your pick today!
