Although OR Manager is dedicated to providing the education perioperative leaders need to succeed, we can’t do that without your input. Our annual Salary/Career survey, now open for 2024, makes it easy for you to provide that input—and in the process, get a chance to win one of five $100 Amazon Gift Cards or a pass to attend the OR Manager Conference in October.

Much of our audience is continually strapped for time, so we’ve kept things simple. We estimate 15 minutes of reflection on your experiences, educational needs, and overall job satisfaction will be more than enough to answer all the questions. Completing the survey offers intangible rewards, too—namely, the satisfaction of knowing you’re contributing to perioperative education more broadly by helping us build a more robust and representative dataset. You’ll also help improve our editorial coverage by adding to our understanding of your needs and challenges. 

One departure from past year’s surveys is increased focus on nurse travelers. This year, we invite you to share which positions you open to travelers, how you orient these nurses, how staff view travelers, and your views on the long-term role of travelers in filling staffing needs.

The survey will close on May 31, 2024, at 8 PM EST. The findings will be published in the September and October issues of OR Manager, and online at ormanager.com.
