Keynote speakers set inspirational tone for leaders at OR Manager Conference

Richard Leider’s opening keynote, “Unlock the Power of Purpose,” taking place on Wednesday, October 20, at 11 am, will help attendees answer this question: Why do you get up in the morning? The reason why you lead determines how well you lead. Leider, the founder of Inventure - The Purpose Company, will be featuring his bestselling book, The Power of Purpose.

Cy Wakeman, MS, CSP, president and founder of Reality-Based Leadership, will lead attendees on a journey to perseverance and leading through crisis during her keynote, “How to Be a Leader (and Not a Manager) During Crisis.” The presentation will take place on Thursday, October 21, at 5 pm.

During her closing keynote, “How to WOW - Turn Your Big Ideas into Big Success,” taking place on Friday, October 22, at 11:15 am, Frances Cole Jones, founder of Cole Media Management, will offer key takeaways on how to turn big ideas into big successes. Attendees will walk away with proven techniques for decoding unspoken questions/objections and resolving conflict.

Also of note is Marty Makary, MD, a Johns Hopkins Surgeon and Professor of Public Health, who will give his keynote, “Examining What Broke American Healthcare,” on Wednesday, October 20, at 3 pm. All keynote speakers at the OR Manager Conference will have book signing sessions immediately following their keynote sessions.
