Kildgore announced as new education coordinator for OR Manager Conference

Cindy Kildgore, MSHA, BSN, RN, CNOR, has been appointed the new Education Coordinator for the OR Manager Conference. Kildgore will head the 2021 OR Manager Conference Program Committee, comprising twenty perioperative leaders, to build the event’s conference agenda.

Kildgore was a perioperative services director for more than 20 years, with oversight of the operating rooms, preoperative holding rooms, and post anesthesia care unit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee.

“Mentoring and teaching have always been passions of mine,” Kildgore says. “To continue that work with the OR Manager Conference is the ‘cherry’ on top of a wonderful career.”

Kildgore says she hopes to continue the stellar work Jane Kuhn, MSN, RN, CNOR, NEA, BC, did as Education Coordinator, delivering cutting-edge advancements to clinical and administrative sectors of the healthcare leadership community. Kuhn will now serve as the community’s Education Coordinator Emeritus, and she will work with Kildgore on building out the 2021 conference.    

The OR Manager Conference is held in conjunction with the ASC Leader Summit and PACU Manager Summit and will take place in Chicago, Illinois, at the McCormick Place Convention Center on October 20-22, 2021. The conference is complemented by the ENCORE digital event on November 15-19.
