Networking rises to a whole new level during business conference

The plethora of good restaurants in San Diego ensure that attendees at the 2019 OR Business Management Conference will be wined and dined. That’s to be expected, and between the Welcome Reception on Monday, January 28 (sponsored by the Competency and Credentialing Institute), and the San Diego Dine-Around on Tuesday, January 29, there are ample opportunities to sample local fare.

In addition, some unique networking activities aim to connect OR business community leaders in memorable and rewarding ways.

On Monday following the day’s sessions, attendees had just enough time to squeeze in some “speed networking” during a lively half-hour of meeting and greeting industry contacts.

On Tuesday evening, the Build-a-Wheelchair® Networking Activity, sponsored by Getinge, will give groups an opportunity to work together on assembling, testing, and decorating wheelchairs for donation to American veterans and others in need.
