OR Business Management preconference workshops expand skill sets

OR Business Management Conference attendees can jump-start their education this week with either of two preconference workshops on Monday, January 27, from 2 to 5 pm. Both workshops will take deep dives into OR business fundamentals.

“The Big Four: Key Components to Optimizing Your Perioperative Business Savvy,” presented by Paul Rhodes, RN, CSSM, and Blake Stock, MBA, CPM, will delve into how to analyze and understand expenses based on supply chain integration and alignment, how to offset declining profit margins, and how to optimize revenue.

Strategies for justifying investment and ensuring the likelihood of a solid return on investment will be the focus of “Business Case Formation: Surgical Service Line” presented by experts from BKD.

Attendees may add a preconference workshop to their full conference registration or register to attend just the preconference workshop.
