Part 1 of Benchmark Questionnaire on OR Business Practices closes December 5, 2022

Part 1 of the Benchmark Questionnaire on Operating Room Business Practices (Elective Cases Only) closes December 5, 2022 at 8 pm ET. We ask that you take 10 minutes to complete the survey to help highlight best OR Practices for our readers. 

The first part of this 2-part survey will cover the following areas: preference cards, first-case on time starts, sterile processing management, and case cancellations. Part 2 will cover block management, preop practices, and room turnover. 

With these surveys, we hope to benchmark OR operations key performance indicators (KPIs) in the above areas and share leading best practices against which individual facilities can measure their own KPIs. We urge anyone who runs an OR to share their experience so we can make available this much needed data. Responses are voluntary and anonymous, and no personal identifying information will be shared.
