The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, on August 11, announced the appointment of Jessica Martucci, PhD as the curator of the Barbara Bates Center for the Study of the History of Nursing, effective August 28.
Working with the recently appointed university archivist and colleagues in the Penn Libraries, Martucci will bring together students, faculty, and researchers to advance knowledge in the history of nursing and healthcare.
Martucci is an historian of medicine focusing on issues of gender, equity, and social justice.
