If you’d like the opportunity to share process improvement initiatives, best practices, or in-depth case studies of what perioperative success looks like, now’s the time to start planning. The program committee for the OR Business Management Conference is now accepting abstract proposals for presentations at the 2025 event, which is scheduled for February 9-12 at Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Florida.

The objective of the conference is to provide business managers, directors, financial managers, and administrators with tools to help manage the OR. We are seeking abstracts detailing take-home tools designed to help hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) boost revenue, streamline processes, increase productivity, and otherwise maximize the profitability and efficiency of the surgical suite.

Topics of particular interest include projects and case studies focusing on but not limited to the following: revenue growth strategies, capital funds management, measuring KPIs, vendor management, supply chain efficiencies, staffing strategies, operational efficiencies, data science, scheduling, cost savings, and more. The submission deadline is May 1, 2024.
