More than 50% of Americans responding to a survey by Calm Business report feeling anxious, stressed, and sleep deprived, and they cite work as the main cause, the January 24 Employee Benefit News reports.
A total of 67% say employers should be responsible for providing mental health support for them, but just 32% do so.
Also, 40% want their managers to receive training to make them more emotionally self-aware and to help them create a less stressful work environment.
In addition, respondents say they want wellness stipends and paid time off to help them prioritize tending to their mental health as well as technology solutions that address sleep and stress issues.
