The US News & World Report, on April 25, released its lists of best nursing schools for master’s and doctoral degrees.
Emory University in Atlanta is the top school for a master’s degree, followed by Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
The top school for a Doctor of Nursing degree is Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, followed by four schools that tied for second—Columbia University, New York City; Duke University, Durham, North Carolina; Rush University, Chicago; and University of Washington, Seattle.
A total of 184 nursing programs were included in the master’s rankings, and 169 were included in the doctoral rankings.
